Job title:
Systems Technician (Apprentice Level): Wenatchee, WA
The Systems Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems, business telephone systems, and data networks.
Duties:
Structured Cabling:
1. Installation of copper and fiber cable plant.
2. Termination of copper and fiber cable plant.
3. Testing of copper and fiber cable plant.
Business Telephone Systems:
1. New system configuration and installation.
2. Moves, Adds, and Changes.
3. Troubleshooting technical issues.
Data Networking:
1. New system configuration and installation.
2. Moves, Adds, and Changes.
3. Troubleshooting technical issues.
Expectations:
1. Abide by the installation standards that Interwest requires of its employees.
2. Maintain IBEW union membership, and stay current on member dues and training.
3. Be willing to work overtime when necessary.
4. Be willing to travel when necessary.
5. Become knowledgeable about the products sold by Interwest.
6. Have a team based attitude and be willing to keep team and company interests equal to personal interests.
7. Treat all customers and employees with respect.
8. Follow all company policies and procedures.
9. Learn the data and telephony product lines deemed necessary by management.
10. Help to grow the business by promoting the company’s products and services whenever possible.
Requirements:
High School Diploma
No specific industry experience required, but should be a tech savvy individual.
